The Ibango Tribe Trace Harris & Friends
This eclectic group features a variety of musical artists who will perform both individually and together. The Ibango Tribe is led by Trace Harris on hang and cajon with Thierry Oger on Flute, Alex on keyboard, Silvia, David, Andrea & Ang on drums, and Konstantin on harmonica.
Trace is an internationally acclaimed percussionist who now lives on Ibiza, and the island has re-ignited his love for live music.
In addition to being part of the Ibiza Spirit Festival, Trace is involved in other festivals around the island, and he directs Balearic Bliss, which hosts weekly live music events here on Ibiza at his house ‘Ibango’.

David Arcos Gijon is a musician and sitar player who is fully immersed in the creation of beautiful music. He has studied sitar with the revered Tarak Nath Mishra in India.
In 2010 his work evolved into DEVANAGARI - a project that fuses the strong Indian roots of Sitar with the most avant-garde chill out sounds, Flamenco and Psychedelic Rock.
Devanagari is a living project that is in constant evolution and growth... always with the Indian sitar as its protagonist.

David Isla, Daniele Miglietta and Hector Gonzalez Sáez bring you a unique blend of upbeat Western Classical music in harmony with the sounds of Asia. They call themselves Mediterranean Masala because they all from our beautiful blue sea, yet their music integrates the Indian spices (“Massala”) of Hindu rhythms.
David plays guitar and Sitar in synch with Daniele on the Indian Santur. In their own words: “We are residents of Ibiza rediscovering music through Indian sound frequencies... connecting the cultures of East and West through our melodies.”

Indian Santur Domenico Caputo
Domenico is the only European to professionally play the Indian Classic Santur - an instrument of 100 strings that originated in Persia 2600 years ago. He has given concerts at theatres and festivals throughout Italy, France and Spain, and has performed in collaboration with numerous famous artists.
For over 20 years Domenico has thoroughly researched and practiced the Santur. His studies include a master's degree at the University of Venice and the Conservatory of Vicenza in Italy. He has lived in India on numerous occasions studying at the Bhatkande University School of Music, and attending master classes with numerous North Indian gurus. In addition to performing, Domenico gives educational lectures on the Classical Music of North India - its philosophy, its technique and the structure of the Raga and Indian Tala.

As the sun goes down we will be treated to a sensual Tribal Fusion Belly Dance performance by Taqsim Dance Project. This beautiful group is led by the amazing Paula Catalán, and also features Bea, Mery, Michelle and Sofia.
Paula is a dancer, student and teacher of belly dance. Her experience covers all facets of this amazing art: pure Tribal, traditional Oriental, North African Rituals, Gypsies and Electronic Fusions. Paula is originally from Chile. She moved to Ibiza some years ago with the inspiration to spread this beautiful form of artistic movement to our Island.

Ingmar Hänsch & Marko Bussian
Ingmar and Marko will be supervising all of the technical aspects of the music, and will also perform some of their own beautiful compositions.
Ingmar has been working in all areas of the music business for over 20 years. He started out producing music for Logic Records-BMG in Germany, and went on to be featured as producer, composer and performer on over 200 tracks - including several on Ibiza's Cafe del Mar albums. In 2000 he moved to Ibiza and co- founded the record label Open Mind Music/OMM Sounds. In 2003 Ingmar became the managing director and producer for Greenheart Music.

Marko is a multi-talented musician who has been featured as sound engineer, composer and performer on numerous tracks that are in general release. He has been honoured for his work by winning the German music award ‘Echo’ on three separate occasions. At the Festival he will be performing songs with his group 'Fous de la Mer'.
